You can request that Nouvos Solutions LLC delete your G.G. Gambit account and the personal data associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make that request and what happens after you do.
1. Delete from inside the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from within G.G. Gambit itself.
- Open G.G. Gambit on your phone or visit the web app.
- Go to Settings.
- Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.
- Tap Delete account and follow the on-screen prompts to confirm.
After you confirm, your account enters a thirty (30) day grace period. During this window your data is hidden from public view but not yet purged, and you can sign back in to cancel the deletion if you change your mind. After thirty days, the deletion is finalised and cannot be reversed.
2. Delete by email
If you cannot sign into the app for any reason, you can request deletion by emailing privacy@nouvos.one from the address registered to your account. Include the words "Delete my account" in the subject line so our team can route it correctly. We respond to all deletion requests within seven (7) calendar days and process them on the same thirty (30) day grace timeline as in-app deletions.
3. What gets deleted
When the deletion is finalised, Nouvos Solutions LLC removes or irreversibly anonymises the following personal data tied to your account:
- Account profile. Email address, display handle, shipping address, dealer profile bio, language and theme preferences.
- Inventory and wishlist. Every card you have added to your private inventory or wishlist, including price targets and notes.
- Marketplace listings. Any active listings you have published are removed from the marketplace. Past listings tied to completed transactions are retained for the period described below.
- Direct messages. Messages you have sent or received with other users and with our support team.
- Card scans. Camera photos you have uploaded for card recognition, stored in our scan bucket.
- Device and push tokens. Identifiers used to deliver in-app notifications to your devices.
- Diagnostics tied to your account. Crash and performance data captured by our diagnostics provider is unlinked from your user identifier.
4. What we keep, and for how long
Some records must be retained for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention reasons even after you delete your account. Where retention is required, the data is held in a minimised form (the actor identifier is replaced with a non-reversible token) and is used only for the specific purpose noted.
- Marketplace transaction history: retained for seven (7) years for tax reporting and dispute resolution. Buyer and seller identifiers are tokenised.
- Payout records held by our payments processor (Stripe): retained by Stripe under their own policies for tax reporting. Nouvos Solutions LLC retains only the Stripe account reference, which is tokenised on deletion.
- Audit log entries: retained indefinitely as compliance records, with the actor identifier replaced by a non-reversible token after account deletion.
- Encrypted backups: personal data in routine backups is overwritten on the rolling backup schedule and may persist for up to ninety (90) days after the deletion is finalised.
5. Export your data first
Before you delete, you can download a copy of everything in your account. Open Settings → Danger Zone → Export my data to receive a ZIP archive containing your inventory, wishlist, listings, messages, transactions, and profile in machine-readable form. The export is delivered to your registered email address once it is ready.
